Engineering For Kids brings Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) to kids ages 4 to 14 years old in a fun and interactive way through after-school classes, birthday, themed, and seasonal parties, camps, family days, in-school field trips, brand activations, and corporate events. We are proud to inspire children to build on their natural curiosity by exploring concepts through hands-on-minds-on learning experiences. Engineering is, after all, one of the fastest growing industries in the world!

Young engineers work together to make gadgets, tools, and machines to help Kelvin in any situation by learning all about logic-based programming and the concepts of mechatronics!

They will:

OUT OF THIS WORLD

Young engineers will determine if mankind is ready to inhabit the moon in this out-of-this-world camp. Future scientists get to:

  • Collaborate with their Space teams
  • Design and construct a variety of projects for moon travel

KODU KART RACING

Race to the finish and create your own racing game in Microsoft’s Kodu gaming environment. From terrain design to enemy selection, students are placed at the wheel and given full control to design their own video game while exploring the foundations of coding.

Apprentice engineers are introduced to Rescue Robots and get to explore the many different ways a robot can save the day!

JUNIOR ROBOTICS:
For ages 4 to 6 years old

They will:

ELECTRONIC GAME DESIGN:
For ages 7 to 14 years old

Electronic Game Design will use the Engineering Design Process to create a storyboard to outline the rules of play and characters for our game. Then we will use Clickteam Fusion 2.5® to bring our storyboard to life with programming. At the end of the program, everyone takes home a working Windows-compatible game.
